Nike and the NFL have partnered to release what they are calling the Inverted Legend series of jerseys. It sounds this new attire is for retail purposes only (for now). The Packers version of this uniform series uses Selective Yellow as the base color and Medium Jungle Green as the secondary (i.e., instead of green and gold, its gold and green).The jersey is available in Davante Adams No. 17 and Aaron Rodgers No. 12, with a price tag of $79.99.
The Packers have worn several throwback uniforms in recent years and also an all-white Color Rush combination, but never an all gold uniform like the inverted look.
Adams leaked a picture of inverted No. 17 on his Instagram account back in April 2018, causing speculation among fans whether this would replace the unsightly throwbacks.
After more than a year of anticipation, fans finally have their chance to get their own while the 1930s and 40s throwbacks will stick around for at least another season in Green Bay.
